Event Details

Have you ever wondered why we like fables and tales?

Why is it often difficult to remember things that were explained to us in detail and other times it is enough to have heard a story only once and we remember it forever?

The rational and conscious parts of our mind learns and understands information directly and linearly, explained as instructions, but finds it difficult to remember them if they are not repeated.

The subconscious part of the brain learns primarily what appears in narrative form and it is often enough to hear a tale once to gain some lifelong understanding.

A higher intelligence that could be called ‘superconscious’ also plays a part in this process.

During the workshop we will explore how through the use of fables and tales it is possible to gain useful information to improve the quality of our lives.
